How are you? Welcome to my blog.
This is my first post of my first ever blog. Many people I know have a blog, some are very interesting, some are very funny, some are just lots of crap. My friends and flatmate are constantly reading blogs, and i do to, it’s quite addictive I’ve to say. So… I thought “Why Not?” and here is my blog.
Who am I? I would define myself a visionary (there’s where the name of the blog come from), I’m a stylist and an art director. I create imaginary visions and concepts for the fashion and entertainment industry.
Many people ask me what’s actually my job involves… the easiest way to explain is “I dress people” but actually there’s much more work behind that just dress a beautiful girl or a handsome guy. I create stories, normally starting from a movie, a song, a place I’ve seen, a book; and try to translate these stories in fashion shoots. Together with a producer and the photographer I find the perfect location, cast the perfect models, etc.
I love my job.
Most of people that sees this from the outside thinks it’s all glamour and glitter but it’s actually a very demanding job, just dealing with “the fashion crowd” every day could be tiring for itself.
In this blog I’ll try to show a different side of this profession and share my experiences in the business.
